Swim Programs take place at Franklin Academy
AQUATIC CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Work out to music in the shallow end of pool – no swimming skills necessary. Improve flexibility, strength and cardio through low impact, joint friendly exercises. We use water barbells, kickboards and work against the resistance of the water.
Low impact, high energy exercise using dance moves with water’s resistance. Takes place in shallow end of pool – no swim skills necessary.
DEEP WATER AEROBICS
This class is more intense than water aerobics. Class focuses on cardio and strengthening with no impact exercises in deep end of pool. Individuals can vary the intensity by wearing buoyancy belts or not.
SWIMMING WITH TOTS
Parents and their 6-36 month old children will have fun in the water.
A great way to exercise. Check schedule or lane availability.
Bring the family for a Friday night play night in the pool.
Swim Lessons are $30 for Members and $45 for Non-Members

The Y has been a leader in providing instructional swimming for more than 100 years. The aquatic program at the Malone Y is dedicated to doing more than simply teaching children or adults swimming skills. Children taking swim lessons must be at least 5 years old and be able to stand in 3.8′ of water. Space is limited.
